A Century of Song – held on Sunday afternoon, 4 June 2023 – was a wonderful day.  Women with Latitude shared the stage with the fabulous, energetic and professional Atlantic Street Band performing to an incredibly enthusiastic audience.  Listen to the two groups performing “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” on our music page.

2023 was the seventh year in a row that Women with Latitude was invited to perform at Cross of the Sacrifice on Anzac Day. Prior to 2017, women had not been invited to perform at this ceremony, despite the fact that SA women had raised every cent to fund the monument in memory of those who gave their lives in the First World War.

One of our favourite venues is the beautiful chapel at Lourdes Valley Residential Care in Myrtle Bank, and possibly our favourite audience are those residents and their families.  We performed there again this year on 16th October.

Women with Latitude is also one of the community choirs who took part in this year’s “Adelaide Sings” on 23rd October in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Pasadena.

Our final concert for 2022 was to a sell-out audience on Sunday, 20th November.  We were proud to have shared the day with the truly magnificent  Festival Statesmen Chorus a choral group worthy of the acclaim they received that day – and at all of their performances.
